Liquid Sculptures

Canon EOS Rebel T2i, 100 mm 2.8 macro, 2.8 aperture, 1/4000 shutter, 400 ISO, flash fired

I am obsessed with photographing water... in any form. I'd seen this idea before (dropping fruit into a glass of water) and decided tonight, I had to do it. I absolutely love the picture above- it almost looks like a baseball player made of water coming out of the glass! (See his glove?)

It is so amazing to me what can be captured on film in a split second, that we can't see with our own eyes. Each splash is different... different swirls and twirls and drops... like liquid sculptures.

"Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’" -John 7:38
